Today, the Upstate Alliance of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (UPSTAR MLS) released its September 2018 local housing market report. Comparing last month’s figures to the same timeframe in 2017, the leading market indicators are as follows:

  • New Listings increased 1.8 percent to 889.
  • Pending Sales were up 5.8 percent to 695
  • Closed Sales decreased 1.9 percent to 674.
  • Inventory levels shrank 17.4 percent to 1,509 units.
  • The Median Sales Price increased 7.5 percent to $145,000.
  • Percent of Original List Price Received decreased 0.4 percent to 95.8.
