UPSTAR School of Real Estate
Pre-Licensing
This course satisfies the 90-hour educational component of obtaining an Indiana real estate broker’s license. Upon successful completion of this course, students will have one calendar year to pass the two-part licensing exam administered by the state of Indiana.
In-Person CE
If you hold a real estate broker’s license in Indiana, you must complete 12 hours of approved continuing education by June 30th every year. The UPSTAR School of Real Estate offers a two-day, classroom format course that satisfies Indiana’s 12-hour CE requirement.
Online Learning
Post-Licensing
Newly licensed brokers must complete a specific 30-hour post-licensing course within two years of licensure. This course takes the place of continuing education during that time.

NAR Training & Designations
Code of Ethics Training
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training that meets specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. Training may be completed through NAR’s online courses or through another method, such as online or classroom courses via local/state associations.
Commitment to Excellence (C2EX)
C2EX, NAR’s innovative professional endorsement program, guides you through courses on client service, the Code of Ethics, fair housing, and more. With a mobile app and digital coach, you can create a development plan that fits your schedule and needs.
NAR Designations & Certifications
NAR has affiliated institutes, societies, and councils that provide a wide range of programs and services to assist members with skill development, productivity and advanced knowledge. Designations acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by each affiliated group upon completion of the required courses. In addition, NAR offers two certification programs to its members.

Paragon
UPSTAR MLS offers Paragon training in a small group setting where members are encouraged to bring a laptop to use during the class for true “hands-on” instruction. Training is provided weekly in two sessions — a beginner class and an intermediate class.
ZipForm
This basic, hands-on ZipForm class is typically offered monthly and shows students how to access the forms, start and save transactions, and set up templates. Access to ZipForm with eSignature is provided as a benefit of your membership in the Indiana Association or REALTORS®.
REALTORS® Property Resource
REALTORS® Property Resource (RPR) is a powerful data platform only available to members of NAR. RPR generates powerful analytics and client-friendly reports in a more professional and user-friendly way than many other applications of this nature.
MLS Tax Suite
The MLS Tax Suite, powered by CRS Data, is a public-record database that seamlessly integrates with the Paragon MLS system to provide in-depth property and ownership data, market information, prospecting, market trends, easy CMAs, and more.
