Fort Wayne, Ind.—The Upstate Alliance of REALTORS® (UPSTAR) is pleased to announce that Kate Dippold has been hired to fill the position of Government Affairs Director for UPSTAR.
A native of South Bend, Indiana, Dippold holds a bachelor’s degree in international law with a minor in Russian. After graduation, she worked as a Legislative Assistant for two state senators; and in 2021 she was hired as the Government Affairs Director for the Allen County Commissioners, where she worked until accepting the position at UPSTAR. Dippold and her husband Luke have a one-year-old son.
“My favorite part of working as a Government Affairs Director, is making a difference,” said Dippold. “It is rewarding to know that my work can amount to palpable changes or improvements for counties, organizations, and civilians.”
Dippold started at UPSTAR March 18, 2024. Her responsibilities include working with local legislators, government officials, and economic development agencies to further UPSTAR’s mission of promoting and protecting homeownership and private property rights in the association’s six-county service area of Adams, Allen, Huntington, Jay, Wells and Whitley counties. Her duties will also include fundraising and candidate support for the Realtors Political Action Committee.
