Fort Wayne, Ind.—The Upstate Alliance of REALTORS® (UPSTAR) named Terry Miller, Century 21 Bradley Realty, the 2024 REALTOR® of the Year.
The REALTOR® of the Year is selected by the recipient’s peers and is UPSTAR’s top award, recognizing outstanding contributions on behalf of the association, the real estate industry, and the community. It is given to a REALTOR® member who exemplifies the highest level of professional conduct in serving the needs of the public.
With eight years of public service as a Huntington County Councilman, Terry has played a pivotal role in planning, economic development, and housing initiatives that have strengthened the Huntington community. His board and committee service for the Upstate Alliance of REALTORS® includes the Board of Directors, the Finance Committee and the Government Affairs Committee.
The REALTOR® of the Year honor was just one of several service awards presented during UPSTAR’s General Membership meeting last month. Additional awards included:
Hall of Fame Award—John Bellio, Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group—Fort Wayne, Ind.
The Hall of Fame Award is given for exceptional and outstanding service to the community and the real estate profession over a lifetime. Bellio has served and supported UPSTAR and the real estate industry for more than 36 years.
Affiliate of the Year— Brooke Sommers, Partners First Federal Credit Union—Fort Wayne, Ind.
Sommers received this award for her exceptional service and support of UPSTAR’s charitable outreach initiatives.
Community Service Award— Isaac Stoller, The Steffen Group—Bluffton, Ind.
Stoller received this award in recognition of his countless volunteer hours supporting UPSTAR’s Day of Caring and his dedicated service as a volunteer auctioneer for various charitable initiatives in the community.
Outstanding Service Award— Kim Haneline-Patmore—Century 21 Bradley Realty—Huntington, Ind.
Haneline-Patmore received this award for her leadership, volunteerism, and dedication in serving UPSTAR and the real estate profession at the local and state level in recent years.
Special Projects Award—Rudy Koch, Prodigy REALTORS®—New Haven, Ind.
Koch was honored with the Special Projects Award for his vision and dedication on the Search Committee in pursuit of a new Executive Officer.
President’s Award— Sue Teasdale, Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group and Adam J. Smith, UPSTAR Executive Officer—Fort Wayne, Ind.
Teasdale and Smith received this award from the 2024 UPSTAR President, Michael Patmore, in recognition of their invaluable assistance and support throughout his presidency.
