Fort Wayne, Ind. (August 19, 2019)—The Upstate Alliance of REALTORS® (UPSTAR) presented a check to Vincent Village on Thursday, August 15, in the amount of $2,341 to help homeless families in the program. The donation was raised from UPSTAR’s Annual Golf Outing, which was held at the Autumn Ridge Golf Club on August 1, 2019.

“As REALTORS®UPSTAR members are helping people realize the dream of homeownership every day,” said Katrina Kay, Executive Officer of Upstate Alliance of REALTORS®. “But the reality is that some people—right here at home—cannot experience that dream due to conditions that have left them homeless. Housing should be available to everyone in our community, which is why we partner with organizations like Vincent Village who are already doing excellent work to alleviate homelessness.”

Over 150 golfers participated in 18 holes of golf at the outing, which was supported by Realtor and Affiliate members of UPSTAR. Proceeds from the golf outing’s silent auction, putting green contest and direct contributions funded the donation to Vincent Village.
