Giving You a Seat at the Table
The mission of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is to identify candidates for elected office who will work to promote and protect the rights and interests of homeowners and REALTORS®. RPAC gives you a seat at the table to shape policies that strengthen and protect the real estate industry and our communities for generations to come.
Candidates that receive support from RPAC are not selected based on their political party or ideology, but solely on their support of real estate issues. Our legislative allies are members of the REALTOR® Party, which supports the issues that are important to your business as a REALTOR®, regardless of political party affiliation.
An Investment in Your Future
How does donating benefit me?
RPAC is an investment that pays off long-term. Like insurance, RPAC is there to protect you when our industry is vulnerable.
Where are the funds invested?
70 percent of your contribution stays at home to support state and local candidates, and 30 percent is sent to the National RPAC to support federal candidates.
Who decides where the funds are invested?
REALTORS® decide! Trustees at the local, state, and national level determine which candidates receive funding and support from RPAC and the REALTOR® Party.
Contributions are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. The Association will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount of their contribution and you may refuse to contribute without reprisal by the Association.
