UPSTAR Announces 2019 REALTOR® of the Year and Annual Award Winners

The Upstate Alliance of REALTORS® (UPSTAR), Allen County’s oldest trade association representing approximately 1,780 REALTOR® and Affiliate members in the Indiana counties of Allen, Adams, Huntington, Jay, Wells and Whitley, has named Isaac Stoller, of Coldwell Banker Holloway in Bluffton, IN, as the 2019 REALTOR® of the Year. An additional 14 UPSTAR members also received service awards.

The honors were presented on December 11, 2019 during the UPSTAR Holiday Luncheon and General Membership Meeting at the Parkview Mirro Center.

The REALTOR® of the Year recipient is selected by peers and exemplifies the highest level of professional conduct in serving the needs of the public; and displays exceptional commitment, service and dedication to the ideals of the association, fellow REALTORS® and the community over the course of the past year.

“Isaac has high standards and is fair dealing in his practice as a real estate professional,” Said Jody Holloway, Owner & Managing Broker of Coldwell Banker Holloway in Bluffton. “He treats customers, clients and fellow REALTORS® with the dignity and respect they deserve.”

Stoller currently serves on the Board of Directors for both UPSTAR and the Indiana Auctioneers Association. He is a 2019 graduate of the Indiana REALTORS® Leadership Academy and a member of UPSTAR’s Young Professionals Network. A strong community advocate, Stoller volunteers to perform home maintenance projects for seniors and people with disabilities in the Fort Wayne area through UPSTAR’s Community Outreach Program. Additionally, he has been the volunteer auctioneer for the Wells County Creative Arts Council for multiple years.

Additional service awards presented at the holiday luncheon include:

  • HALL OF FAME AWARD— Jeff Vaughan, Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group. The Hall of Fame Award is given for exceptional and outstanding service to the community and the real estate profession over a lifetime. Vaughan has built a reputation among colleagues and community leaders to be honest, knowledgeable, hardworking and a person of high character. His career is characterized by more than 33 years of service to the real estate industry and to giving back to the community. He is a past president of UPSTAR and currently serves on the Fort Wayne Housing and Neighborhood Development Services Board and the Safe Housing Advisory Committee.
  • AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR AWARD— Jessica Maxwell, Aardvark Home Inspectors, for exceptional service and support of UPSTAR’s charitable outreach events.
  • OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD— Tamra Stier, Rockfield Realty Group, for exceptional servant leadership on UPSTAR committees.
  • PRESIDENT’S AWARD— Katrina Kay, UPSTAR Executive Officer, and Adam Smith, Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group. This award was given to Kay and Smith by the 2019 UPSTAR President Beth Walker for their assistance and support of Walker during her term as president.
  • SPECIAL PROJECTS AWARD— Todd Stock – Chair, Renee Cox, Vickee Harding, Mary Mauger, Patrick Maloblocki, Ed McCutcheon, Kyle Ness, Beth Walker, Katrina Kay and Mary Sherer of the Better Business Bureau Task Force. This award was given to this group of individuals who worked tirelessly to retain the buyer-Seller Mediation Program with the BBB.
